07/06/2024: I have won the Leonard J. Savage Dissertation Award in the Applied Methodology Section, sponsored by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA)! Named in honor of Leonard J. “Jimmie” Savage, this award is given each year to an outstanding doctoral dissertation in Bayesian statistics that makes significant contributions through novel Bayesian analysis of a substantive problem with the potential to impact statistical practice in a field of application. 06/24/2024: My PhD dissertation Novel Bayesian Methods for Precision Medicine in HIV was selected as a finalist for the Leonard J. Savage Dissertation Award by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA)! I will give an invited talk in the special Savage Award session at the 2024 ISBA World Meeting in Venice, Italy, on July 5th.
